While we don’t generally recommend car seats that aren’t built for purpose, the Doona has proven to be a safe, reliable and convenient car seat in required and additional crash testing. #CarseatFullstop rating - 4/5 The Doona operates as a compact rearward facing infant car seat, which can be used up to 13kg or 81cm (whichever is reached first). The seat itself weighs 7kg. The seat installs simply with a seat belt alone. Alternatively, you can purchase and use an ISOfix base which it clicks into. It has a built-in travel system and unfolds into an easy-to-use pram. The car seat is also approved internationally for use on flights, although you should double check with your airline in advance. Doona is a must for someone with more than one child!! So simple and quick, and def helps with getting kids in and out of car quick and easy. Great for traveling!! Airports, planes, malls or walks.. This really is a great pram.

The Doona is probably the best travel system I have seen in a long time. I do not own one myself, but dream to be able to purchase one some day. Already started to save for one when I am blessed with a beautiful baby some day. :-) Even though a little pricey it is so compact and easy to use. I have a friend who has one and I have been with her on holiday, to a shopping mall and coffee dates and I just stand in awe each time on how easy the Doona is to use, especially for Moms who sometimes have to run a few errands on their own without Dad or someone to help them carry. The Doona changes from car seat to stroller (and back!) in only a few seconds and is light and manageable. Absolutely love the Doona!! ♥

My son is 19 months old and has used his Doona for the first 18 months of his life. It was perhaps the Best Buy I made for him as a parent and I wish it was available years ago so I could have bought it for my older son! The Doona can be used up until your child is 13kg, which my son isn’t quite there yet (almost!) but he is tall and like the another mom mentioned, your child cannot face forward when being pushed around, which had my son sitting forward and peeping from the side. We travelled twice overseas since he was born (at 3 months and at 18 months) and both times we took the Doona and it was a lifesaver! We hired a car in all 3 countries we visited and it made life an absolute breeze because he was comfy enough to nap when he was tired. Locally, we have travelled with it as well. And just for daily use, it’s been fantastic! When he was younger, I would just remove the Doona from the car when I got home (if I found him asleep) and then convert it to a pram and park it in my lounge until he woke up. As he got older, it did become heavier to move him around while strapped inside. I would highly recommend the Doona pram bag that attaches to the back of the Doona as there isn’t space to hold/hook parcels or anything else on the handle. I’m very glad I bought this product and made very good use of it!
